As I sit here, penning this heartfelt message, I imagine us sharing a cozy moment together, perhaps with a steaming cup of tea. Today, I’m delving into a topic that’s personal  – my journey through perimenopause and menopause. It’s a path I’ve been traversing and today, I feel compelled to open up and share it with all of you.

Let’s be real – perimenopause and menopause aren’t exactly a walk in the park. Despite my diligent efforts to maintain a healthy lifestyle following the 80/20 rule, these hormonal changes still managed to catch me off guard. When estrogen decides to take a nosedive, trust me, your body and mind feel every bit of it. The struggle is real, my dear friends.

So, what’s been helping me weather this rollercoaster ride? Allow me to share a glimpse into my daily rituals:

1. Eating the Rainbow: You might catch me chasing rainbows, but not the kind you’re thinking of. I’m talking about a vibrant array of fruits and vegetables that serve as my daily nourishment. It’s not just about pretty plates for Instagram; it’s about flooding my body with a diverse range of nutrients to support hormonal balance from every angle.

2. Embracing Non-GMO Organic Edamame Soybeans: Say hello to my tiny soybean companions – always non-GMO and organic, of course. These little wonders act as my hormone allies, providing a natural source of phytoestrogens to ease those pesky menopausal symptoms. And knowing they’re free from any genetic meddling or harmful pesticides? It’s a comforting thought.

3. Trying Out Wild Yam Cream: Picture me in my bathroom, armed with wild yam cream like a modern-day alchemist. Derived from nature’s own pharmacy – the wild yam plant – it’s my latest experiment in finding relief from hot flashes and mood swings.

4. Making Time for Me: Mornings have transformed into my sacred sanctuary. Amidst life’s hustle and bustle, I carve out precious moments for myself. Whether it’s delving into uplifting texts, practicing meditation, or pouring my heart out in my journal – it’s my daily dose of sanity in a world of hormonal chaos.

5. Choosing Grass-Fed Goodness: Let’s talk about meat and milk, but let’s make it grass-fed, shall we? Knowing that my food hasn’t been tainted with hormones or antibiotics brings a sense of peace. Opting for grass-fed options feels like a breath of fresh air for my hormone-sensitive system.

In closing, I want you to know that if you’re journeying through perimenopause and menopause alongside me, you’re not alone. While these phases may throw us a curveball or two, together, we can face them with grace and resilience. Remember, it’s perfectly okay to reach out for support and share our stories – that’s how we navigate this journey together.
